Well that's, uh, not great... I hadn't heard any bad things about it, but I guess nobody buys SC2 for the campaign.

Co-op is apparently more popular than multiplayer these days but idk I don't see the appeal.

I've always been terrible at Starcraft, but I enjoyed 4v4 multiplayer. Others could make up for my failings.

I played for the first time in four years the other day and got placed in the middle of Platinum by massing roach hydra and pushing like I did back in hots. Never really played LOV but my build orders from HOTS seemed mostly still viable with tweaks (Granted I was masters way back when). Everything is just so fast now, that's the thing that took me most by surprise. You can expand so much faster now.

You can still sleep your way into diamond by just massing roach hydra as Zerg with decent enough macro.

SC2's co-op is actually really good, I think it's probably the best co-op experience I've ever seen in an RTS game (including 2v2 against other humans as co-op)

it's not super complex or difficult or anything but that sorta works to its advantage imo and the various characters you can play as all feel like they have a distinct identity to them
