What I learned in 10+ years is that those people who are "wrong" and those otherwise may not have been wrong after all.

When those homeless people who hold up "THE END IS NEAR" signs or groups like the hippies are universally declared nutjobs, you may realize they are/were actually the only ones who know/knew what was going on.

The drunken nutjob who holds up the sign may actually be the only one who knows, and is piss ass drunk because he lost hope, because he knows no one would believe him, yet at the same time he hopes someone will realize. Even he hopes he's wrong.

You can wave him off and not take him seriously. Even tell him he's a total nutter. But simply remember his words. in 10 years, you could realize that he was right.

Tru dat. I don't usually take the time to be careful tho because so many posters here are just unapologetic jerks for no reason. Its crazy how many posters choose to just be dicks to everyone and anyone they meet, like the naysayers ITT! They're not even that bad in comparison to the one's who put effort into it, but irl they'd be seen as the biggest assholes you've ever met lol.

The issue is that contrarians don't care if they're right or wrong, they just want to be different. The fact that they're occasionally right actually makes them worse.
