The other one purged but I finally finsihed it today

so my thoughts are that the first part of the season was just okay but the last 2 episodes got really good

and I figured out why it wasnt catching for me

because this isnt a comedy with dramatic situations like futurama, its a drama with comedic framing. Its basically Friends or Scrubs but at the end it turns into Once Upon a Time

I think whenever there is a season 2 that this should be an okay rewatch and may pick up much like Bojack Horseman

I'm only like 4 episodes in, but tbh my first immediate gripe was the opening credits sequence

The Simpsons and Futurama are two of the most iconic opening credits in all of television, and they get followed up by some bland and mostly still silhouettes?

they kind of do the once upon a time thing where its specific to each episode after a while

after the first episode they are like 1/5 of the length as well.

I watched two episodes and only laughed like three times. Unless it really picks up, it doesn't seem that great to me.

I loved all of it. Last 2 episodes were definitely my favorite and I'm really curious as to where it goes from there.

I enjoyed it a lot and I'm hopeful it can get really great in future seasons since first seasons tend to be relatively weak.

Yeah its kind of more heavily focused on character and world building with some funny elements around them. I think the fact that most of the time the voice actors sound more serious is part of some of the jokes being firm too.

If I would relate it to Futurama its more like the movie one where the alien dudes are trying to absorb all the knowledge and wealth and sending bender through time type of thing than general futurama or simpsons

I don't hate Bean and she has her moments definitely but I like Luci and Elfo a lot more. I thought I was going to hate Elfo as well.
