It's got such a unique concept with the entirety of the movie just being from the view point of a computer screen, which never seems like it ever becomes overdone. And it's a seriously gripping movie you won't ever know the direction it's going.

All in all, absolutely worth a watch.

Thought the begining sequence was a great framing device to tell backstory and then it just stuck with that.

Unfriended 2 is coming and looks good too.

Yeah, the run time was strange in that at one point in the movie I went "I thought that was the ending" and my girlfriend said "I didn't think that was the ending because it seemed too soon." But it never felt like it drug on at all.

It was great. High level masterpiece storytelling. There are so many twists and turns; just when you think you've realized what has happened the story loops in a new direction that you can never see coming.

It was imo everything you could have hoped for in a thriller: it was gripping, it was unpredictable, and it really made you feel for the characters. There was a gut punch early on in the movie (you probably know the one) that brought me to tears- and I hardly ever cry in movies. That transition was done flawlessly, and it sets the foundation for plot threads that come later in the movie so well that I felt completely foolish for underestimating the importance of details both small and huge alike. Also I cried a second time right before the climax! Holy crap I didn't see that one coming at all.

So glad everyone liked this movie! It's something really special and a hell of a lot more competent than I honestly expected it to be.

I think the opening is so brilliant though. You get the entire backstory for these characters in such an easy to digest way. My girlfriend also cried a bit at that opening part too Gen.
