I'd probably give Crocodiles the award. They've outlived the dinosaurs with no signs of extinction.

Some sea creatures probably do a good job as well.

Lots of animals have.

Horseshoe crabs actually predate dinosaurs and I think Scorpions are even older.

The oldest and largest living organism is a mushroom that is thousands of years old and has to be measured in acres.

Orcas dominate great whites and sometimes hunt them for food.

Lions sometimes drag them out of the water and eat them. Hippos also kill them pretty easily.

Humans are the most perfect hunters.

After that you just have to list apex predators.

Wolves and orcas are more succesful because of teamwork.

Tigers are probably the most dangerous one on one animal.

Really depends on what you value in hunting.

Edit: Not hunting but killing. But I guess they are pretty much one and the same for animals. Minus the legit murdery ones. >_>

How do you define perfect killer?

The perfect killer is not necessarily the best fighter or the most successful at survival.

That's why I said polar bears.
They live in the most difficult conditions and have an extremely hard time surviving.
One of the only species that sees humans as prey and will attack on sight.

If we fashion those tools, how are we any different from a pack of wolves which use their intelligence to hunt a caribou, or a spider which fashions a web to hunt it's next meal?

Or an otter which uses a stone to break shells?

Our tools are better. That's the difference.
