Board 8 > So how does this whole nomination phase work

Yeah, I can fill out the form, but what are the B8 customs, faux pas, other considerations, etc. that I need to know? This is my first contest that I have been around for nominations.

Basically I just would like a rundown of what to know before you nom.

There's really nothing you need to know beforehand. You can check out the number of rally topics on the board about nominating such and such character if you want some ideas. But ultimately just go with your favorites!

The winner of the Guru (2 this time because reasons) gets to force everybody who participated to nom their dude, and the Nomination Rally Tournament encourages you to take at least some of theirs if you participated. You certainly don't have to do either if you didn't participate but if you like any of the characters (they're in Zen's archive topic and other places) it's kinda nice to help 'em out knowing that they already have some chance
