I pre-paid for a rental car through Budget.

Go to pick it up and it wasn't ready. Had to wait about an hour.

I get the truck, leave and it feels like the sparkplugs are misfiring. I take it back. I exchange it for a new truck and have to wait another 30 minutes. I talk to a manager about it and he gives me $100 credit for the rental.

Cool.

A month later, I'm waiting for the refund on my credit card. I call budget and the guy informs me that because I pre-paid for the rental, there wouldn't be a refund. Something about no matter what, the pre-paid amount is the final amount because the rate could change after you pre-pay for it.

So I'm like, why would the manager give me a discount on this rental?

Anyways, they're going to process my refund.
