I made a topic just for this Aunt May speech

May Parker: You'll never guess who he wants to be... Spider-Man!

Peter Parker: Why?

May Parker: He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that, saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams.

Also would like to include Bruce Wayne driving/ running into the destruction of Metropolis.

Spiderman on the subway.

Batman in the Dark Knight saving the doctors from the Jokers henchman while battling Gordon's SWAT team.

Pretty much every action movie ever when someone goes after a bad guy and his army of henchmen to stop them from hurting random people.

I guess I'm talking about moments that you've seen in theaters or at home that left you unknowingly with your mouth open in awe. Moments that solidify why the Batmam, Superman, Spiderman, etc. considered the hero.

Logan looking after Xavier in "Logan" after all these years and the insinuation of what he's done to the rest of the Xmen.

Doesn't have to be huge action set pieces.

That sideways shot of lightning-wreathed Thor descending on the writhing hill of zombies in slo-mo as Immigrant Song fires back up.

Not to take away from the rest of the otherwise-excellent Ragnarok, but that one shot made want to immediately rewatch the movie just to build back up to that moment.

Remember in one of the Hobbit movies when Bilbo was on a mountain ledge holding on for dear life, and Thorin, without thinking twice about it, climbs down onto the ledge himself to pick him up and lift him to safety? He put himself in danger to protect a Hobbit. It is a small act that shows he puts his people before himself. Very kingly.
