People are actually complaining and disappointed it went down a few categories lol Fucking children I think there's this disconnect with people who don't actually have to deal with these things where they believe a hurricane is some kind of movie-esque spectacle, and it's disappointing when and if it doesn't turn out to be as spectacular as the 'hype' predicts. People reacted the same way towards Matthew, as if it was somehow a letdown that the storm ended up skirting the coast instead of being The Big One that finally clobbered Miami. I'm not completely without sympathy for this mindset; you really have to live through the dread and anticipation that an approaching hurricane puts in you before you can appreciate both how it affects you and others. I have my personal grievances against overhyping a storm to a degree, wherein an overload of info can send you into a panic; which is why I'll always take WINK's news over CNN's in cases like this.
