Got the bill today. I had gotten one for 1000$, said my insurance paid for 300$ of it, so I owed 700$. I was like meh thats a fucking lot but okay. Just got another one today.

8,787$. Insurance paid for 5,704$ of it, so I owe 3,736$ total including the first bill.

Lmao are you fucking kidding. Literally 4,379$ for the visit alone. 3,350$ for the ct scan to tell me what was wrong with me.

They did nothing. They told me what it was, gave me some pain pills and told me to pass it at home. I was there for eight hours for them to tell me that. And then they send me a bill for 3,736$.

Sigh. So annoying. So disgusting.

Btw, kidney stone is awful, dont get one.

Can I afford to pay it? I mean, Im not well off by any means, but I feel like I have more than a lot of people.

No way could I pay this right now. And if I had to pay 300$ a month to pay it off in one year.. that would pretty much fuck my life up.

Call the hospital and try to talk them to lower the bill- explain that it's out of your means and maybe they can work out a payment plan with you.

Also, I suggest you try drinking a lot more water and adopt a healthier diet.

Passing it was bad, but the pain beforehand was what was really awful. The left side of my stomach and back just hurt so badly. And it felt like I had to piss and shit the entire time. I was literally moaning in pain. Just couldnt help it.
