I was going to get MM11 regardless lol. I guess its a nice ray of hope.

Tbh if they actually make X9 I hope they address Axls ending in X8. Im tired of the X series adding new bits to the story only to completely ignore it by the next game lol

Remember when they cancelled Mega Man Legends 3 because there "wasn't enough interest"?

I haven't forgotten, Capcom.

I think Axl's Ending is just a tease for the White Axl armor in New Game+

Since it's supposed to resemble Lumine.

I was getting Mega Man 11 anyway. Hope it sells well because I always wanted to see another X game. Maybe in that one they can actually attempt to salvage the overarching story.

It was actually in development at one point but ultimately got cancelled according to an article I remember reading regarding the state of Mega Man. It was going to have 16 bit SNES style graphics.
