For the sake of this poll, you get 60 mins of unpaid break. You have the choice of working through it or taking it.

I currently work 8-5 (1 hour unpaid break), Mon-Fri. 40 hours/5 day work weeks are awful. Having more freetime on my work days would be great and would allow me to relax more. At my current work schedule, I spend more time at work than I do at home a day.

I could also limit my freetime on work days and just give myself a full 3 days off in a row. 3 days to fully recover and come back to another 4 day work week. It's a touch choice, but I'd much rather do the 4 day work week.

ikr? Having those three days off would be excellent. So much time to do anything AND you can enjoy most of your time without having to worry about going aback to work for a couple days.

I like my current schedule. Monday/Tuesday on, Wedsnesday/Thursday off, Friday-saturday-sunday off, then switch what days are on/off the following week. 12 hour shifts. Works out to getting 40 hours but I also get 7/14 days off.

Between the two options, i'd definitely go for the 4 days.

definitely the 4 days, the only exception might possibly be if the hours are something I would be hate

like working 3 a.m. to 1 p.m. 4x a week vs working 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. 5x a week, I would need to think about that

4 days in most situations.

But what about the commute? If it's longer than 30mins, then 4 days is a lot better.
But if your job is right down the street?

Also depends on the job. Office job? 4 days is a much better option.
Manual labour? Idk.

5 days unless the school timetable changes as well since it would suck for families. People should be able to choose though. As long as the work gets done it's shouldn't matter.

why couldn't you just say 5 8s or 4 10s <_<

i miss doing 4 10s. i would pretty much always work a day off for OT but every 3rd weekend was a 5 day weekend. sunday double time.

right now i'm pretty much doing 5 10s even though it's supposed to just be 5 8s. plus my shift sucks and i start at 6pm. guess it's better then starting at like 2pm but i miss day shift.
