Folklore says it has medicinal benefits and supposed to be a 'warming' food which would help you if winter is cold. And best of all, its said to taste like chicken. Cant go wrong if it tastes like chicken. The chicken comparison is pretty fair, I thought it was more like crocodile but it has more to do with how it's prepared. --- Mod me?
