Several things, but the one that comes to mind and not that bad to post on GF, was a high school girl getting hit by a car. The impact tore her leg open and it looked like white skittles inside as she lay on the pavement screaming in pain and blood gushing from the wound that was like a foot long.

i seen that bad kid josh smoking a cigarette behind the post-office after school one day while wearing his Tripp Pants, classic Hot Topic spike bracelets + spiked choker necklace & his slipknot shit that had the S-word on it that he would secretly change into against his single(!)-mother's wishes inside the school bathroom before 1st period, which he'd always usually try to ditch anyway. he truly did not give a single fuck

even crazier is that when one of the mail people asked him to leave the premise he FOR REAL told him "whatever, g-word-wad" before speeding away on his mountain bike and yelling "fuck you, you fucking fuckers!!" at them before he erupted into a cackling-frenzy. Then, to top it all off, he later threw his empty Big Red soda bottle into the middle if the non-too busy at all road, almost as to give a middle finger to the rules of our society

Saw a car accident where a car hit a motorcycle. The motorcycle handle bars went through the windshield and through this womans throat. I had to get out and basically stick my fist in her throat to slow the bleeding until the paramedics arrived.

there was a spinning rack of food, i think it was chips. little kid kept spinning it and it was wobbling a good amount. The kids mom was looking the other direction and an old man, maybe 70, came up and pushed the food rack down.

kid gets blamed by mom as old man just walks away with the most trollish smile i have ever seen in real life. i heard kid trying to blame the old man and the mom was telling him to not lie.

My life is pretty tame. Never witnessed a life threatening injury or death. Maybe seeing dozens of torn up birds on the turnpike.

And these were big ass birds. Looked like a whole flock got mauled by a lion or something(probably just a big truck)but yeah limbs, and mangled corpses were everywhere for like 200 feet. It was like going through super mutant territory.

I use to work in the South West side of Chicago and there was an enclosed gated area before the actual building I worked in to keep degenerates out. Well I was smoking in there about one in the morning and this strung out prostitute wearing a mini skirt comes stumbling down the block and when shes just about in front of me she shits herself and the log pulls her thong down to her ankles and she just keeps on walking down the street like that. I saw an SUV cartwheeling down a road and finally stopping before going into the lake. It was a little boy and his mom. His mother went to the ER and the boy only had a broken finger.

I worked as a bartender for a bit, so sometimes I'd have to go to Walmart at 4am for dish soap or toothpaste or whatever. A couple tweekers came running in and took a bunch of cigarette cartons one time

I guess out of just sight and not plainly experienced would be working on a chicken farm as a young kiddy.
we'd go down to the houses every morning, gather up all the dead chickens and put them in a bucket, and any stragglers (chickens which were injured to a point where they definitely wouldn't survive, seeing chickens with twisted necks running around was a common sight) you'd pick up by their legs and slam against a post to kill them. sometimes they'd empty their bowels on your arm when you did it too. the bodies were thrown into a mass grave of sorts (far from the chicken houses mind you), but my grandaddy also raised bird dogs, so they'd help themselves.

that's more something I've done and not just seen though...most people are describing things they've seen other people do, not things they did. I'm not very social, but I did have to volunteer (I know, "have to volunteer" is an oxymoron) at a nursing home and...well I guess I'm just gonna have to hide behind HIPAA.

A semi had driven through an entire herd of deer about 5 minutes before we drove up the rural road. There were 25 that we counted, and maybe more. Most were dead, some were still dying and making groaning noises. The road was completely smeared with blood and intestines.

Made me think of what happens to the soldiers that have to live through this scenario but with humans. It'd change you.
