Therefore, if you want to make more dosh more quickly, it is prudent to get a better GPA. If you dont care about nabbing a high-paying job quickly, I wouldn't worry about it. Those jobs tend to require more effort anyways, and if you're thinking about slacking off in school then you're probably not going to want to go hard in the industry. If you want to go into academia, you definitely need a good GPA if you want to go to a half-decent graduate institution.
