Like, let's take my current situation in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. During the mission Path of the Living, there's some door puzzle that involves rotating the left and right pillars. Now, Lara said something upon first coming up to the puzzle but I didn't fully hear what she said and unfortunately for me, nothing offers any clues as to what was said. Alright fine, shit happens. But as I get to the last part of the puzzle, I find myself wondering if she explained Mayan numbers because she specifically says that one of the last ones is a zero after looking at a picture. I don't know Mayan numbers, I don't know what their zero looks like. So, I look this shit up, hoping for a solution and an explanation so I don't feel completely like an idiot.

Nobody has explained shit. Still don't know what a zero looks like and I have no fucking clue how they found out what the other pillar's last number is. I hate pure solutions because I want to know what I missed and/or how you get to the solution.

Those too are just "do this and you got it". I wasn't exaggerating when I said nobody has explained it.
