"Everything the enemy meant to do to us, like Obama and Hillary, what they meant to do to us (FEMA camps), is now gonna be turned on them."

"Q has alluded to it"

http://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/mark-taylor-i-view-martial-law-as-a-great-thing/
During his recent appearance on The Sharpening Report, so-called firefighter prophet and radical conspiracy theorist Mark Taylor predicted that President Trump will soon impose martial law, round up his enemies, and place them in concentration camps, which he thinks will be a great thing for America.

Taylor, who believes that figures like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton will soon be tried by military tribunals and executed, praised Trump for turning the tables on the deep state, which he claimed was planning to put conservatives in concentration camps, and moving to impose those punishments on his enemies.

I promise not to give conspiracydoofs views. This is to Right Wing Watch, clipping the crazier bits out and mirroring them. Their reasoning is:

QAnon is basically if you took pizzagate and then made Trump the hero going to stop it because you need something to believe in so your support for him isn't wasted.

There's a movie about him coming out

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Trump_Prophecy
The Trump Prophecy is an upcoming Christian drama film. It tells the story of Mark Taylor, a retired firefighter who believes that, in April 2011, God told him that Donald Trump would one day become president of the United States. The movie also portrays how Taylor's words helped inspire a prayer movement during the 2016 election.[1][2][3][4]

The Trump Prophecy is a production of Rick Eldridge's ReelWorks Studios, in cooperation with the film department of Liberty University, the evangelical Christian school founded by Jerry Falwell. It was directed by Stephan Schultze, the head of Liberty University's film program, and made with the help of many of the school's film students.[1][2][3][4]

The Trump Prophecy is scheduled to be screened by Fathom Events in theaters throughout the U.S. on October 2 and October 4, 2018.

Some Liberty University students created an online petition objecting to the school's involvement with the film. The petition said, "We should be very wary of modern-day prophets. Mark Taylor has claimed God told him that electing Trump will save the world which is unbiblical at best and heretical at worst."[1][5]

It's baffling how evangelical Christians latched onto Trump even though he doesn't embody any aspect of Christianity. Hell, Obama was a far better Christian (and human being) than Trump is, and they spent the last 8 years bitching about how he was a Kenyan Muslim Antichrist.

It's a tactic that is well known among propagandists. They know that even if their creation is easily proven false and is completely unwieldy and unnecessary, that it can still be effective. Once they have the hooks in, they can just keep moving the goal posts. There is this philosophy out there that every lie has a grain of truth (it's not true, honestly), but they use that to their advantage. It usually goes something like this;

"Okay, well clearly Hillary isn't a lizard person, but maybe she's got some secrets"
"Okay, well clearly she doesn't have those kind of secrets, but she's definitely running a pedophile ring"
"Okay, so she's not running a pedophile ring, but she knew about it"
"Okay, she didn't know about it, but that means she doesn't know what is going on around her, so she's a bad leader"
"Okay, maybe none of that happened, but that just means that there is something bigger she is hiding"

It's all about planting seeds. The best part, too, is that social media means that this stuff is like a virus now. Everyone shares the ridiculous pages, laughing at how ridiculous they are and shrugging it off as, 'oh, I just thought it was funny' because it agrees with their philosophy or makes fun of someone they dislike. The people who don't believe it just keep passing it because it's too ridiculous to believe, until it reaches someone who does believe it and, bam, another believer. And the best part? They know that it's considered 'impolite' or 'uncool' to every call someone when they post something that is blatantly false. You'll be called a killjoy, or they'll remind you it's just a joke, and you are somehow an asshole for speaking up.

It's crazy to think about how easy it is to spread disinformation.

That's the point. It doesn't matter if you agree or not, so long as you keep propagating it, even if it's used in mockery, it will keep going until someone does agree with it.
