And these numbers people are quoting for Kavanaugh's chance, while I don't know how legit the numbers themself are, I've repeatedly seen the same / similar numbers in many places, so there's probably some actual source behind it too (whether or not it's a reliable one is another matter, of course). But yes, good on him for not backing down. Ford's complaint may have been true, who knows. It seemed a lot more genuine than most, and there was evidence of her talking about it (in private) long before Kavanaugh's nomination. If anything is going to bring this down, it'll be that one - it probably won't, but it's the only one that has even a remote possibility of being real.
