college, applying to research positions, applying to volunteer at clinics, med school, residency......always had to try my best to build up my resume, interview, convince them that I'm the right person for the job.

Now i'm applying for specialty fellowships, and my resume is built nicely, people are happy to write me killer letters of rec, at my interviews they're tryna convince me to come to their place, its so weird. its literally the opposite where now I can 100% be myself at interviews and they have to sugarcoat to make their places look better.
