Davie kinda had a scene with Carl though, but that was more about Carl than about him.

Still, 17/20 ain't bad.

Plus, it's still a 90-minute premiere, so a lot more time to fill with character work. Definitely one of the better premieres we've had in a while (since Kaoh Rong).

I'm actually kinda digging Nick. I can appreciate people like him (see: Fairplay, Jonny) as long as they get a decent story arc.

Aside from like, the worst possible person finding the Goliath idol (okay, maybe Alec would've been worse), this episode has been awesome.

EVERY season should have a 90-minute premiere. This WHOLE David sequence would've been cut from a 60-minute premiere, because it wouldn't have anything to do with strategy.
