I got a job offer working as a Lead Teacher. I took it. I went to to the company base and filled out their paperwork and took my picture for the company. Since then they've been radio silent. I'm supposed to start on October 9th and haven't heard anything about my start time at all. I emailed them and been ghosted about questions concerning new hire orientation. I'm getting worried and thinking that if i don't hear from them by next week and should start looking for a job (again ).

this shit happened to me twice

the first time, the fucking HR manager handling my paperwork went on vacation for a week and didn't tell me. when he came back he finally started working on my stuff, but i missed like the first week of training and was horribly unprepared for the job.

with my current job, they told me they would contact me at the end of july about training and paperwork. then they changed their mind and pushed it to mid august and didn't tell me. end of july came and i was freaking out trying to contact them but they took 3 days to respond. jerks.

I interviewed for the position. I went in person, met the lady and everything. I applied through the nyc teach men program. Now everyone gone silent.
