Install sizes have never been an issue for me, even when I was on a base PS4, because once I completely finish a game I always uninstall it.

If you're playing lots of games and using services on the PS4 regularly, this can be a pain. Even without factoring in the cost of upgrading, getting above 2tb is a pain. On a base PS4, just this, Destiny 2, Final Fantasy XV and Doom for example would take up almost all your space.
