My mother, from the time I was a young child, sexually abused me, physically abused me, and was extremely psychologically abusive as well.

One day, after she attacked first my dogs and then myself, throwing a glass at my head and cutting me, I put her in a rear naked choke to stop her rampage.

This was taken to court, where I was exonerated by a judge after corroborating evidence from my entire family.

So, no, I never "beat" my mother. Ever. Anyone who defends her is defending an abusive child molester.

Stop spreading lies. Now there's no excuse to pretend I randomly attacked an innocent woman.

A thing in your sig suggests you were born in 1990. Is this true? Not relevant to the topic, but I'm curious because if so, that would make you the same age as my brother, and again, while that has no relevance to the topic, I noticed your sig, saw "1990," though "oh snap my brother was born that year" and became curious and subsequently thought to ask.

Yes.

It's strange because I've always associated that year, thanks to being my brother's birth year, with a person being a young'un. 1990 was always the cutoff that in my mind meant "older than my brother," "my brother's age" or "lol even younger than my brother." Obviously this logic doesn't really hold weight today but still, that's how I think lol >_>. In any case, I don't know physical or sexual abuse, but our father was... a problem. I do know psychological abuse. Neither my brother nor I have spoken to him in, well, approaching 2 years at this point, and neither one of us really intends to. I don't know if there is even a way to undo the normalizing of such abnormal behavior when you've become numb to it even if you suddenly wake up and see it for what it is.

It's like... I can accidentally burn myself on my oven and be like "oops! lol! That's a flesh wound that will cause a permanent scar! lol clumsy me! :P" or have a bunch of bruises and feel sore for days after getting into a drunken kerfuffle with a buddy of mine with a black belt (I have no martial arts training) and laugh about knowing in the back of mind that I was all "nah man hit me for real... like not TOO hard... but like sorta hard. I'm fine I can take it" but then I look back on some of the shit my father pulled, just words and presence. No physicality. Threatening to beat the shit out of me because of a misunderstanding at a youth soccer game, telling me I have to look after the family at 10 years old because the FBI's coming to take him away (fake news, he believed it though), smashing lawn chairs into trees because my brother accidentally poked a 1cm hole in a hand-me-down tent, ranting like Alex Jones on PCP at a blockbuster employee because she had the nerve to ask "would you like to add an email address to your account?"

Certain people like to say "lolololol at being bothered by WORDS and having FEELINGS lmao" while also saying "OMG ANY level of VIOLENCE is SUPER WRONG even just aggressively shoulder-bumping someone!!! D:"

I've done technically violent things to myself just to calm down because I didn't have time to think of alternatives before I was about to snap, and the logic is always "whatever helps me calm down and doesn't get me arrested." My father may never have hit me, and I may have never experienced sexual abuse... but growing up in a household with a psychotic loose cannon who thinks aliens are speaking to him through cosmic music, can't take responsibility for anything ever, has falling outs with everyone he's ever known and gave himself vertigo from tweaking his neck roaring at a racoon because it was too close to the campsite during a weekend-long manic meltdown... It doesn't matter how many people including myself tell me THAT IS NOT NORMAL. I still question myself... Was it really that bad? I just don't know if there's an answer to that.

In any case, I've seen your name before and I've heard of your story before this topic. Benefit of the doubt that all is real, I feel like being real too, so that's where that rant came from. Sticking to real talk, sorry you had to go through that.
