I've been asked to apply for the mantle but I don't know. It's a lot of extra work like setting up events/doing budgeting/collaborating with other colleges. I'm not sure if it's worth it. Plus, I'm not really a people person or a leader.

Depends. What are you hoping to get out of it?


I'm hoping it looks great when applying to higher level schooling once I'm done with undergraduate. I remember being a member of a honor society in high school and getting an honors diploma but those didn't mean anything from what I was told so I'm hesitant on going the extra mile again.
