Thought there were two data entry mistakes in my guru entry, but apparently I really did take Sans and Claire to win a round each??

...I guess at least that probably balances out, but eww Sans. Pretty certain that one at least was a misclick (might have just forgotten switching to Claire).

Joker's best chance is just that Claire's never been that strong, so I can see why you wouldn't be confident if you had her either.

But every advantage I was hoping Joker would have has fallen through. He'll just have to be a lot stronger than Claire at his peak strength to counterbalance his disadvantages in order to win, and I'm not sure he's that much stronger.

Like I guess Joker can still win, but I'd rather have Claire at this point.

I have no idea what if anything this means for the localization chances of future Trails games, but it does make me uneasy.

Update: Seems Tom left today also, who was another one of the main editors at XSEED. Don't think he was directly involved in the Trails series other than maybe for FC, but uh I am now extremely concerned, albeit for slightly different reasons.

Oh.... huuuh. From Hatsuu making the comment that this was "sudden" I was concerned this was some kind of downsizing thing or something, but hoped I was just reading way too much into it. Now... not too sure.

(As for Trails. I... think you're right that Tom was only involved in some last minute editing on FC when the main person left near the end. IIRC Tom translated a game on his own in his free time and XSEED released it. Think it was an old Falcom game. Maybe one of the early Xanadus? Can't quite recall.)

Edit: Though apparently Tom said he didn't know Brittney was leaving and thinks it's a coincidence? And that he had been planning to leave for years now and it was an amicable split. So who knows.
