Man SF5 and MvCI are some of the worst games you can have on a resume imaginable, and a lot of people feel apathetic about Ryu in Smash so I doubt Smash helps him. The strongest guy in Ryu's 8-pack is probably Shepard, who is also most likely much worse because of time and Andromeda. There are a lot of places you could stick Ryu in this bracket and I'd pick him to get upset.

(I actually switched to Spyro over Chun-Li not because of Spyro getting a boost, because I am banking on Chun getting a deboost)
