Statement 1 conflicts with Statement 2.

If life is what you make of it then by default it isn't shitty, just shitty because that is what you made of it.

To better inspire cutiepie here something along the lines of this can be said.

"Life hasn't handed you a bad hand with poor cards. In life there are no bad hands or cards, even if you only have a 2 and a 3 in your hand doesn't mean you're at a disadvantage, you just have to find a way to use that 2 and 4 to your benefit and to secure your win.
