I've heard of military conflicts in which men on horses fought men in tanks, but I've never heard of war without casualties. It's one of my big action movie peeves.

Marvel has killed some minor characters, but I think they need more. Not in an "injured, but still alive way" but in a "dead in no uncertain terms and never coming back" kind of way.

Captain America is my favorite character in the MCU and I'm actually kinda hoping that they kill off Steve Rogers rather than recast him. James Bond immunity is expected when there's one hero. But when there's literally dozens of heroes, some of them have got to die before all is said and done.

At the very least, Thor. He has just found his rhythm.

I think either Cap or Iron Man should die but maybe not both of them.

I think Hawkeye should survive just because everyone has expected him to die for so long lol.

Cap dying does overall seem pretty likely. That's a big long-term consequence. He's the inspiration for most of these heroes and he leaves a leadership void that will be filled by some of the newer members. He doesn't seem like someone who would retire and go hands off either.

Stark dying would leave a similar impact. But I think his retirement and settling down with Piper seems like something they've been building up to this entire time. However his death would leave a void that could be taken advantage of by companies like Oscorp (assuming Marvel Studios would risk something like this since they're tethered to Sony). Tony seems like a guy who could cameo and give people gadgets and suits though so he could still have a minor role going forward.

I don't know what other characters would have that same meaningful impact outside of just being sad. Vision staying dead could lead to something like House of M which could be interesting. Would need to be changed a lot though thanks to the lack of mutants in the MCU (for now at least).

It's alright because Evans wants out, we got Bucky/Falcon to take over.

Stark doesn't need to die, just "retire". It's nothing to have CGI Iron Man and RDJ do voice cameos in the future.

I'd rather Hawkeye not die and go live with his family.

Thor and Hulk are just starting to get good, so I want them to live.

I don't think Blackwidow will die cause she's got a movie supposedly coming. I could take it or leave it though.

Kill Steve, retire Tony with occasional guest appearances, probably retire Hawkeye too, leave the others alive and active.

Hawkeye pretty much has to die after his wife and newborn son were introduced in Age of Ultron. That's like saying the character is two days away from retirement.
