37 y/o Irish Actor, Colin O'Donoghue is the frontrunner to replace British Actor Henry Cavill as Superman after he was let go for not being a cameo in Shazam!!

The Once Upon A Time alum who played Captain Killian "Hook" ended his 7 year stint on the hit ABC show after it was cancelled back in March and said his final goodbye to Vancouver where he called home for almost 6 years.

He emerged as the frontrunner despite other names being floated around such as Armie Hammer, Sam Claflin, Cillian Murphy and Michael B Jordan who was the first choice by Warner Brothers.

But Colin is being heavily favoured given his appearance as he looks very much similar in the role of Clark Kent but will also be a relative unknown compared to his challengers as well..

I think he'll make a good superman, tho i really don't care about this kind of stuff much at all.

Colin to me just makes me think Hook. For me visually, I think Armie might be the closest right now.

Actually, I like Armie as Superman as I think Colin would be too short. Plus Colin as Superman...nah. I could be surprised, but Armie is taller and I think would be interesting as a Clark Kent.
