Finally got DD, JJ, and IF... Now I gotta spend all my gold to get them to their 40s... and then gear them up. This is going to take a while. Do I want to put Spidey, or Night Nurse in with them.

Punisher boosts the entire team and sort of protects Daredevil with his passive. Spiderman just gets a few very minor buffs and adds nothing in particular to the team.

If you're gonna use Spiderman you would be better off substituting someone else for Ms Marvel as well since you'll have DD, Spiderman, Iron Fist, as brawlers.

But yeah I'd rather use Punisher. He is amazing since his passive will allow him to attack on non attack abilities. (Luke Cage Def up + Taunt, Jessica Jones Energy gen, Iron Fist Heal)

If you're fighting a team that's mostly villains then Punisher is a must on a Defenders team

Looks like we should all get 15 bw shards soon so that's cool I guess. Update is likely to include pyro campain event which needs blasters and support characters.

Iron Man, punisher, night nurse, yondu, Dr strange, Thor are my highest 6. I'll probably drop night nurse out of those just because 3 supports is overkill. Depends on the stages I guess.

We are getting Sabertooth with the update. Not sure about pyro though.

It's probably going to be a Sabertooth blitz today, with gold orbs as part of the ranked rewards which means its gonna be like a 3million point cutoff top 1500 blitz.

You have to make sure the team works well with each other.

Currently my Arena Defense is the same as my Arena Offense + #1 Raid team + #1 blitz team.

Cap, Quake, Merc Lt, Xbones, Yondu.

I'm hoping to change it though when i get starlord. Gonna work on making a team of
Thanos, Starlord, Rocket, Merc Lt. (or BW) and Vision.

i'm just hoping Brotherhood won't stop this team too badly.

Erggh, been spending all my campaign energy upgrading my DD team, so now my main team is falling so far behind... I fail blitzs so more now and my arena rank dropped from the 70s to 120s....

I can't even come close to clearing stage 5. What did you use and what strategy?

22k gamora, 21k yondu, 16k drax, 8k bruiser and Boomer. I'm out of gold and I'll be sad if I have to wait like 6 weeks to try again.

25k Yondu, 20k Gamora, 14k drax (!), 4k groot, 1k boomer.

Rng is key.
Need a triple attack on drax with Gamora, and you need drax to survive the first turn. Somehow mine lived with half hp afterwards i was able to get a Gamora ult to kill drax and then landed a triple attack on rocket which one shot him. Yondu's surviving was pretty key. He got off a lot of summons and ults.

So is there really any other group besides Defenders that "work well" together. For example I was trying to research an Avengers team and it seemed only Cap got any extra benefits from working with Avengers what with the extra blocks. I mean Thor's passive revolves around Asgardians instead of Avengers and Pfffftt, the only other Asgardian now is Loki right?

Black widow also has avengers synergy.

Shield minions with and without fury, and gaurdians are the only real full team synergies. There will be more in the future.

it's fricking hard to remember all of them.

besides the obvious ones(since they're active now duh):
guardians/ravagers = starlord
city heroes = block party(ability mats)

so far i remember:
kree = nick fury
hand = catalysts
mercenaries = gold/money

i think shield are required for iron man but not sure.

anything else?

Yes shield IS required for Iron Man...been trying to get him for months now....but I was assured having a full team of 5 stars will at the very least unlock him so I am ready for the next one.

Yeah. My Loki is 2 stars and at around 17k power. Very helpful in my mystic team.

I got starlord sat morning after pumping my team up some more. I plan on dropping the two minions and not trying tier 6 until I can get Groot and rocket to 6*. Groot is nearly 4 and rocket is 4. That's likely many months away. Many many. Gonna be working on kree minions now I guess. Almost have them all 4*.

As for low star characters that are good, mordo, Loki. Scarlett witch, vision. Mainly controllers. They only really get better survivability and focus from more stars since their damage is minimal usually anyway. Protectors brawlers and blasters need as many stars as possible. There aren't very many supports to begin with but star levels increase their healing and their survivability.

I'm rather ashamed to say that i don't really know anything about how healing works in this game. Does the actual healing value go up as you increase their stats? Which stats increase the healing? Damage? Focus?

Or is just because of the fact that most healers heal based off a % of their max hp, which means increasing their HP increases their healing?

Edit: Congrats on getting starlord btw! Be ready for a bunch of spiky balls, silver rocks, and flaming spheres to gear up a tech team around him. >_<

I think healing is based off a percentage, not 100% sure about that but Focus mostly affects chances to apply a debuff which is kinda useless on some characters that having no debuffing abilities.

It is strictly based on max hp. So leveling healers gets you more healing, with an exception to the flat healing numbers.

Focus is used the apply debuffs and remove buffs (such as Hawkeyes special or yondus passive). Characters like punisher have no use for focus.

If you read the skills most say heal 500 HP, and 10% of this characters MAX HP. Upgrading said skill usually changes the first portion and not the latter, or at least till much later. So the only real way to boost healing is to increase MAX HP of the healer.

Yeah. Healer villians are all bad for late game.

I wish they would add a neutral trait or antihero trait or something as an in between hero and villain.

Is there a major character villain healer? All I have are minor characters like Hand Sorc, Ravager Stitcher, Hydra Scientist, etc.

The only one is scientist supreme. And she is bad.

So does that mean a Hand team is the best for a villain team for synergy? My villains campaign has kinda stalled since i have so few villains. Crossbones, Elektra, Bullseye, Venom, and Hand Sorc is my random ass team. Just got Mordo, is he any good?

You don't always need a healer for campain modes. And currently there aren't really any great synergies between villians characters unless you make a cosmic team removing around thanos, yondu, mordo, korath, and maybe kingpin since he can be great almost anywhere. Korath could be switched for many alternatives.

Actually Ronan is technically a healer for kree he's just bad. But a kree team with 3 of the better minions, Ronan, and korath might be ok.

Is it like that one heroes campaign that has a ton of enemies? Though I could probably 3 star that mission now, was a pain before and don't feel like retrying.

I have 3 starred all of villains and heroes. Think with villains I had Crossbones, Elektra, Thanos, Yondu and Hand Sorc. Oh and don't discount Hand Archer with his group buff removals. I imagine that can help with Shield and I do use him for my blaster challenges.

IS there anyway besides the Arena Fights, that one can use to get the Arena credits ? Those things are just so hard to come by. I want to soup up DD and Quake. But I no go crazy with them.
