Any console where you can just put the game in and start playing is definitely preferable. Also console games are typically more fun. SOME genres are better on PC such as FPS, simulations and RTS but otherwise it's hard to give a shit. PC gamers barely even MENTION fun. They just discuss frames per second and resolution.
