I'm upgrading my phone and can get these without paying anything with my provider, I can also get a Pixel 3 for $200 but fuck dat lol.

Leaning towards S9+ because I prefer Android and I currently have a G5 and it's fucking garbage.

i have the note 9 which is close to the same thing as the s9+, i absolutely love it. really feels like a futuristic device & there are so many useful features on it

my wife has the iphone 8 and it's a solid device but really not impressive and feels very long in the tooth compared to the s9

havent tried the G7 so i cant comment but IMO id go with the s9+

note 9 is really worth it if you are cool with shelling out the extra cash. really fast, great camera, amazing battery, and the stylus is actually pretty cool

I'm really bad with small things like styluses >_> I remember when I got a DS I went through like a dozen fuckin replacement styluses lol, and to this day I lose bluetooth earbuds too often so I use a full headset instead, I'm kinda afraid I'd lose the stylus and tbh all I do on my phone besides phone stuff is browse the internet and listen to music/podcasts so I'm not sure if I need the extra features of the note 9.

the stylus is really just a fun extra imo. honestly i was going to buy the s9+ but then verizon had a sale so i was able to get the note 9 cheaper. so i wouldnt shell out more for the note 9 unless the battery life is really important to you. i pretty much cannot kill the battery on this thing lol
