Altair got a few handhelds and Ezio obviously had a full trilogy, but after that it seems all the AssCreed protags were one and dones, with Connor starting that trend. Do you think it was because Connor was boring and unlikable, or bc he was tied in with Desmond, and that was wrapped up in 3, or bc they wanted to explore different time periods?

Maybe Connor in the French Revolution game or something.

I think they just wanted to explore different time periods.

Fans loved Ezio, but I think they only did a trilogy for him because they needed to get games out ASAP and it was easier just to reuse him and his time period.

I think if he was more popular they would of given him another game. The fan backlash against him was very harsh so that put any chance away though. Kind of disappointing though, he was a very tragic character who had a very shitty life and that can be more interesting then a charming character if done right. And for some reason Ubisoft took out some of his best lines in the game

Honestly, I liked the character and the story. It was the voice actor that ruined it for me. No emotion whatsoever.

Very good point. If he was a popular character he for sure would of had something to do with the French Revolution game, it would not really be a stretch for him to be there since it only takes place 10 years after the end of AC3.

That being ingame probably would've helped a lot of people understand and appreciate his character.
