How's the combat like? Tales of, turn based, etc? And how's teh loot and ability system or whatever there is in the game?

it's an action rpg, you have free movement completely and you can assign four skills at a time to be used in addition to your basic attack combos to create some really long and fancy damaging combos

the skill system is pretty cool, all of them are different for each character and the more you use them the stronger they get as they level up

there's not really much in the way of loot other than random drops and treasures across the map

Isn't that basically the first music you hear once you step out of the village

hey some people like hearing songs ingame for the first time

the reveal of a new area along with cool new bgm is different from the reveal of a new area with bgm you've already listened to on youtube for an hour on loop

I've never played a Ys game before but I bought it on Switch and it's really excellent how in-depth it is

Basically a open-world game based in a castaway environment. You're basically looking for castaways to develop your village, you can fish, gather materials for weapon/armor upgrades, outfits, you engage in monster raids, the battle has a 'break' system in which certain characters can break armor (depending on the enemy's icon), it shows how close you are to getting status ailments, etc

Pretty much just rattled off there, there's a lot more
