Yeah, its not your generic horror garbage of the past 20 year of cheap jumpscares and gorey violence.

yes though make sure you really pay attention because the show takes you back to the way past, the recent past, and the present quite frequently. i was slightly distracted during thr first few episodes and I had a frustrating time trying to understand what character was who from each time frame. especially since several of the characters look similar.
