Not east Asian, but there is an Indian guy at my gym who never wears deodorant and presumably not soap either. He stinks up a 40-foot radius every time he is here. I started bringing febreze with me to the gym.

I am the only person in my office that uses it. Even finding it in Japan is difficult. The stuff I did find wasn't really effective, so I just stock up when I am in America now. I'm not Asian though.
