Board 8 > Any suggestions for San Francisco area activities?

I'm in town for a while. I was here a couple years ago and did alcatraz and biked across golden gate bridge. Don't really remember what else. Any ideas? Considering the 49ers game but aside from that I have no plans.

You can take a ferry and hike to the top of Angel Island

Golden Gate Park and the Lands End/Sutro Baths areas are nice

There's also SF MoMA

If you're looking for bars, Trick Dog and Smuggler's Cove are great-- the latter is one of the best rum bars in the country. I have some other recommendations here but those are probably top 2.

Also if you're not limiting yourself to just SF, you can check out Muir Woods or go to the east bay and hike (or drive) in the Berkeley/Oakland hills for a great view of the bay.

Also, I recommend The Ice Cream Bar in SF as well-- their butterscotch ice cream is great, and they have some alcoholic milkshakes that are more on the side of cocktails rather than someone just dumping some rum in a milkshake.
