I used to get nosebleeds all the time in elementary and middle school if that's what you're talking about. They became less common in high school though and all but disappeared senior year. I never did get why some kids have that condition.

Exposed arteries in the nose. Typically found in people with deviated septums.

I feel like once I got to college guys stopped being grossed out by it. maybe I was in progressive circles but every friend group I was in would be fine talking about it
