Tony_Biggie_Pun 10/19/18 1:36:26 AM #1:	Earlier in the month I posted about how I got a job offer for Software engineering and that the training was in Indianapolis but I was too scared of the move to take it. I never got on a plane before and never lived away from my home in NYC. Right now my hotel and plane tickets have been booked by the company so all I have to do is pack my stuff and go. The training is for two months. Then one I get my project it we'll probably be located in Connecticut but I'm not 100% sure My hotel accommodations were just confirmed tonight so I guess I'm going to just take the lead of faith and go out there. They're going to pay during training and it is $57,000 a year salary. Or $27.4 an hour. With a 2000 sign on bonus the first paycheck and 2000 after the first 6 months of working. I also posted how I was in like $10,000 debt earlier this month so that's actually going to hello towards that lol I'm still of scared though and in my heart I don't want to go but fuck it in just going to do it since everything is payed for. I've lived in Silicon Valley, San Diego, the East Bay (across from San Francisco), Michigan, NYC, and a few other places. You make do with what you get. And you're moving from a city to a city; it's not as if you've decided to ditch city life to take up farming. Good luck! You may find that you love it there. If not, it's only a job. You'll get another one if you decide to move again. ETA: Wait, everyone was commenting on Indy and I missed that you think you'll end up in CT. I'd probably turn it down if I had to learn a new language, though I'd be willing to accept simply having to get better at an existing second language.
