Like, millions. 20 million, 50 million i dont know.

and ive won a $1 million prize one time, never the jackpot, average ROI was like -85% on the one.

It is not a smart move to play it, though i can see just one ticket for a foot in the door.

if you're buying a bunch of tickets for every drawing, you're more than likely gonna lose a lot of money, but one ticket every now and again when there's a huge pot for that "what if" is fine

I work at a grocery. The girl up at front was a bigger crank about it than I am. She told me out of the thousand lottery tickets she sold today, she gave out 2 $2 winners.

It bothers me because people piss $20,000 over their life because they don't understand math well enough to know that they should save that instead, and win a lottery of "$10 dollars every day for the rest of your life!"

I had an Uber ride on the way home with a woman who worked 7 days a week 12 hours a day because she was $60,000 in student loan debt, and even worse off with her medical bills, 6 payments behind on her car, and she was going on about how she just needs a winning lottery ticket. Can you tell what country I'm from?

Don't play powerball or super lotto. Play the daily 3.

The only way to feasibly play this thing is to play the same numbers for like 20-30 years that gives you the highest chance of those numbers coming up. Now this is not some "great strategy" but it's way better than continually switching numbers and/or buying a ton of tickets.

Im guessing the tickets sold were for a Friday draw? Of course people are buying tickets today instead of cashing them in.

You should have also been using a praying simulator in conjunction.

I coudl write a program in C to simulate it in like 5 minutes but honestly there is no reason to since simple math will tell you the likely hood of winning...which sucks.

I get the whole idea of just buying a ticket and maybe winning a ton, but again, it would be better if everyone just go ttogether hired someone to take their money run a random number thing and hand out the winnings. Then at least you would get as much out as you put in.....even if your odds would still probably suck.

What if I told you that the lottery only exist to capture time travelers and when the pot gets really high its because they're after a high value target?
