It was probably like 3 development teams trying to make sense of the previous team design and trying to salvage whatever they could.

I'm not even a Square Enix fan, but Tetsuya Nomura needs to be blacklisted. No game should go through development cycles like that.

It was in development hell for nearly a decade and from what I understand, suffered from management and design changes throughout development.
Its a shame really. I didnt outright hate it but there are some glaring flaws not only with the original launched game, but also in how theyve handled the improvements that theyve added since. --- Onyx87 Feel the love... ... Copied to Clipboard!
