Dick move?

So I used a 'buy one get one free' Big Mac meal electronic coupon at a McDonald's at the airport. The staff were very reluctant to honour it. It was escalated to the manager who eventually caved when I showed him that his McDonald's was one of the valid locations (thanks to phone GPS).

I doubt they profited on my venture but if they advertise their location as a valid site then it's fair game IMO.

If the company makes them, and designates their location as participating, they have to comply. Don't managers get some newsletter about deals currently in effect?

There is no "would of", "should of" or "could of".
There is "would've", "should've" and "could've".

Those newsletters are probably largely ignored. Especially if it's some obscure coupon that I had (work benefit).

Idk Ive seen a McDonalds manager not at a prime location look visibly upset and insist I buy more when I ordered a single $1 big mac with a coupon from the app. It was unnerving.
