See I think it becomes more normal when there's a community behind it. Of course, KoopaTV has lots lots lots more than just citing GameFAQs polls for stuff, but the site covered the 2013 contest and after because that's when it was made. Would've done Game of the Decade too if the site was around then (started in 2013), since I've been lurking every Contest Stats topic for that whole time. For characters and games specifically, the site has a pro-story/pro-character narrative that's supposed to run counter to Miyamoto's Sticker Star philosophy, so the character contests are a good way to not only celebrate that, but a good excuse to see how far our Ace Attorney fanboy/fangirl-ism goes.
