Truly a good person?

I used to be more selfless and genuine and caring. I would put others ahead of me and be sincere about it or show true concern for others, but I realize that people don't appreciate it or they take advantage of you. You can know someone for 5-10 years and they drop you in an instant for no reason, no matter how much you've done for them.

I miss being more innocent and naive. But I've seen people lie or massage the truth even though I know what the true story is.

Maybe that's why people enjoy To Catch A Predator.

I've been there and am sort of still there. The only reason I still help people anymore is because I learn more and gain more skills when I do (this is mostly tech and music-related), while they just grow lazier and fatter. I do it for myself, so it doesn't matter whether they appreciate it or not.

I tend to be more helpful to good people though.
