According to National Security Adviser at the White House John Bolton, President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America wishes to meet President Valdimir V. Putin of the Russian Federation during the Centenary Commemoration of the end of WW1 held in Paris next 11th of November !

President Vladimir Putin seems to be also eager to have an open, frank and friendly meeting with President Donald Trump, and appears to respond favourably to the POTUS initiative.

Because first of all, it's not "Veteran's Day" strictly speaking that President Trump and President Putin are invited for. Over here it is Armistice Day, celebrating the Armistice between the Allies of WW1 and Germany at Compigne on the 11th of November 1918, prior to the Versailles Treaty. A MUCH bigger celebration that the Veteran's Day in the US. And it's not just ANY Armistice Day, it's the Centenary. Russia, the US and France were allies in that war, why would we NOT respectfully invite you both for such an important commemoration ? It is a MAJOR celebration here, and a holiday (nobody works that day etc. - this year we get screwed becaus it lands on a Sunday, but otherwise it's a paid day off for everyone). France, unlike the American deep state, has not lost all common sense and hasn't started pretending to erase history and historical allies. We remember our allies. You'd do well in the US to do the same and respect your own history and allies a little more, instead of throwing it all down the toilet because such is the agenda of the revisionist left :(
