64 y/o Retired Texas FIREFIGHTER, Glenn Eugene Halfin will now be spending a year in PRISON and styling his racist hair with a toilet brush after he was charged with a HATE CRIME when he put left a black baby DOLL hanging by the NOOSE outside his African-American neighbors apartment!!

He received the MAXIMUM sentence allowed under Texas law when he plead guilty to federal hate crime earlier this year

The Colonel Sanders lookalike admitted to interfering with a black family housing rights that is a misdemeanor hate crime.

He displayed the doll THREE ties and noted the family had a young daughter who saw it daily.

His lawyer said he acted out of "anger and frustration" because his neighbor, 28 y/o Dante Petty had moved into their neighborhood with his wife and young daugher and did not like that as he intimidated them to leave.

He bought the black baby doll at Walmart and put it by the noose and hung it at a railing "directly in front of the only staircase the family could use to access their apartment"

DA Nicole Dana called his actions reprehensible and disturbing and said it wasn't the only time he did this adding he done so several times to get minority neighbors to leave.

He apologized for his actions but said the neighbors weren't "angels" ether because they would stomp the floors and poured urine and feces over the balcony that fell on his porch. But police reports said HE was the one who would throw eggs and dog feces at the neighbors car

Video footage was caught showing Glenn hanging the doll outside the apartment that busted him as he told the judge it was PAYBACK and that it WASN'T racially motivated.

The Justice Dept disagreed and said they will continue to prosecute hate crime offenders.

Seems a little weaker, but I guess it's a common area rather than his property? The length of the sentence still seems ridiculous considering that actual violence often results in shorter sentences.

I thought about that at first, but then I remembered this is *sentencing* so he may have hung the decorations months ago. Remember: It's Christmas in July, not Halloween in July >_>
