Is a "Chad", and respectively a "Stacy", also implied to be white by default ? I mean "Chad" / "Stacy" as terms, also contain the implication that the respective person is necessarily white, and there are perhaps other terms for other races ? Or do those terms cover it all, and a "Chad" / "Stacy" can be of any colour / race / ethnicity ?
Thanks in advance, genuine question, trying to get up to date with nowadays' socio-cultural American lingo, nothing more. I'm French, I'm not aware of the more subtle implications in all the slang terms.

People have used other terms for other races

For example, I've seen "Tyrone" and "Denzel" used as the black equivalent of Chad/Brad.

But I've also seen Chad used generally irregardless of race.

I believe this is right. If you can find old archives of the r/Incel forum, you'll see they have a diverse selection of alternative names for attractive confident men and women who aren't white. Like most things coming from that group, I can't recommend spending much time there at all if you can help it.

Chads are supposed to be tall, very handsome, typically muscular, and very confident with a good jawline

There are also other attributes like being white and blond but they're not necessary

I knew two guys in one of my past jobs

Both got girls but they were different

One was a very alpha, fun, smooth "chubby" guy who is NOT a chad

The other was a muscular, chiseled, very handsome guy who was also very alpha and he WAS a chad

The 1st guy held a management position and had decent a amount of money while the 2nd guy was like me except of course he was a chad

Chads are supposed to be naturally more masculine than most guys
