We should not be minimizing the free will of these crazy people and removing from them for their own actions. BUT, you have this lunatic sending mail bombs to prominent Democrats and liberals. You have some racist asshole shooting up a mosque in Canada. You have some asshole stabbing two good Samaritans to death for trying to defend a Muslim woman. You have some asshole shooting and killing two Indians that he mistakenly thinks are "Muslim invaders". You have some asshole running over a liberal protester with his car. And at that same event, you have a mob of violent assholes beating the shit out of a black guy. Yes, all of these are isolated incidents, but it's astonishing how many of these violent incidents have transpired since one political party--that makes up half the country, mind you--coalesced behind a leader that espoused hatred and dehumanization towards Muslims, towards Mexicans, towards the press, towards liberals in general, often times encouraging violence towards these "enemies" to America. And then you have entire media platforms that either amplify his message, or create an even more violent message for him to, in turn, project to the nation.

This is correct. The fact that, for all the "both sides are equally crazy" rhetoric, Republicans can only really point to the Scalise shooting as an example of Democrats doing anything, speaks volumes about the reality of the situation.
