There was a very good reason golden era rules were 17 or less.

I've hosted 8 so far, I believe. Not that all of them were balanced perfectly or anything. I tend to go high power. With Suprak checking the balance I'm not really worried about that department though.

I did see your point earlier that you're just referring to the player volume in general and not the balance of the game. I was kind of deeming it more important to give everyone a chance to play. But since we already have 3 people that offered to be replacements, I COULD take it back and return to 16 if enough people prefer it.

Alright, I am returning to the original plan of 16 players to keep the flavor consistent and to make the game a shorter and smoother process overall. Some good points were raised that a game being too large will result in burnout as it goes on. Sorry to those who signed up too late or found themselves in a position where they had to offer to be a replacement. You indeed will be on the replacement list!
