I don't think that is true. AC games always do good sales. Origins had 1st month sales beat Syndicate by double and Odyssey beat 1st month sales of Origins. And if you are a fan of the series you buy all their games like me. It is just that there are a lot of protagonists in AC games so no one can truly represent it.

Its more likely Assassins Creed 2 has fallen instead of the franchise instead. Origins and Odssey have boosted the sales much higher then they used to be.

This is both the best that Zelda has ever been thanks to her increased role in BotW, along with AAA Western games no longer having an audience here. No one on GameFAQs cares about tedious open world games littered with busy work (unless its got the Zelda brand on it).
